We’re so thrilled to be launching our community in your crazy cool city.
We’re currently signing up lots of bright and brilliant students from The University of Manchester. Manchester Metropolitan University, Salford University, Trafford College and (cue drumroll) the Royal North College of Music. They’re all searching for friendly families who need after-school childcare, homework-helpers and babysitting support.
So parents of Manchester, we’ve got studious helping hands aplenty to get you through the work/life juggle – whether you want an hour of help once a week, or three afternoons of school pick-ups, it’s super flexible.
Our Student Nannies are seeking fun and fulfilling jobs that fit around their studies, where they can feel part of a family. They want to build Lego, not stack shelves, to fly kites, not wait tables.
Plus they have an amazing array of skills to share with your children – we’ve got linguists, medics, musicians and sporty types. So parents can find a study-buddy for subjects their kids love or need extra help with.
‘I needed a babysitter for my birthday and through Student Nannies we found Harriet to look after our daughters aged 12 and 10 – they loved her and so did we! She immediately connected with our girls by discussing their common interests, she’s very arty and full of energy and enthusiasm. Both girls had some drawings to show us the next day!’
Vicki, Mother of two, Manchester
‘Student nannies is fantastic for students! It’s so flexible you can easily find jobs that work for you and meet some lovely families.’
Harriet, M1, Manchester Met
Hi, I’m Helen, I’m 26 and studying to be a school counsellor. I have 8 years experience with children and young people. I am one of six children, so I’ve always been helpful, loving, thoughtful, hands-on, busy and motivated from a young age. I have an enhanced DBS check, I’m First Aid trained and have a clean driving licence. Please get in touch to have a further chat 🙂
Helen, Marple, Stockport, studying at The Trafford College
Hi, I’m Mariya. I am studying psychology and criminology. I come from a big family so I babysit all the time as I enjoy entertaining kids, looking after them and seeing them happy! I can clean, cook, entertain and come up with fun games for them to engage in. I am happy to help with any homework. People describe me as reliable, honest and friendly.
Mariya, M9, Manchester, studying at Arden University
Hello, I’m Naomi. I’m 26 and in my final year studying medicine (it’s my second degree which is why I’m a bit older!). I love spending time with children – they’re so fascinating and I find we can learn a lot from them! I’m fully trained in advanced life support and am a keen cook/baker if cooking is required! I’m on placement in Warrington so can work in Warrington or Manchester.
Naomi, Medical student, Liverpool University
