Flower Pot Cupcakes

Preparation time: 15 minutes | Cooking time: 20 minutes | Serves: Makes 9 flowerpot cakes

You will need:
• 100g butter
• 100g golden caster sugar
• 75g self raising flour
• 2 large eggs (beaten)
• 25g cocoa powder
• A pinch of baking powder
• 9 ice cream cones

What to do:
1. Heat the oven to 180c
2. Use an electric whisk to mix the butter and sugar till fluffy
3. Mix in one egg a little at a time
4. Stir in the flour, baking powder and cocoa until light and smooth
5. Dollop a desertspoon full of mixture into each ice cream cone, and place them on baking parchment
6. Bake for 15 minutes

Buttercream
• Mix 50g butter with 150g icing sugar and 2 tbsp cocoa powder. Add a splash of water if needed.

To decorate, buy some edible flowers and cut out wonky oval shapes from green icing. Place all of this on top of the cakes and hey presto! Some scrumptious flowerpot cakes!
